Omega started her dance career at the age of 3 with ballet training. She went on to explore other genres including latin, jazz, tap and progressed to working with Afro-Caribbean companies in the UK and abroad, before focusing solely on flamenco.

She says that for her, flamenco represents the pinnacle of dance, bringing together aspects of these different genres. She is currently studying, teaching and performing in various venues.

As part of an ongoing University of Bristol project she is currently researching a paper on the evolution and current status of flamenco.
